UPDATE: Confirmed RUMOUR: Metro Redux Coming To Next Gen

From the depths of an Italian forum (which is admittedly only a few notches higher than "a friend of a friend says" and a little lower than an unheard of online retailer listing on the rumo-nitor) comes news of a new metro game... well not new.

Update: Deep Silver has confirmed Metro: Redux is real and details are coming "This side of E3"  and the above image is out of date.

This image was found on Italian gaming forum "ForumEye" which claims this is a remaster of both Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light bundled with all of the DLC and "enhancements". No actual details was revealed other than it'll come with Art cards and soundtracks (fairly common re-release mcgubbins) and an supposed release date Luglio 2014, that'll be June to you and me.

It's seems likely that the enhancements are likely the Ultra graphics from the PC versions and some additional tweaks. Though people are saying Metro 2033 will receive some of Last Lights improvements (improved stealth for one). Time will tell as June is not that far way.

Abe's Take
Metro 2033 is hard to get hold of now on consoles and Last Light reviewed rather well, So a remaster would make sense and would certainly help Deep Silver recover some of the funds they spent on acquiring Metro and it's developer. I really enjoy Metro Last Light and would love to play it and it's prequel on my Xbox One.  *However I feel the image is a fake, the box art looks a little off and the description mentions a PC version but no PC box is shown, usually these sorts of images contain either just the art from the box art with out any console borders or all the boxes layered.

* Update: well looks like I was wrong about that

Dead Space 1 "On The House" Act fast

Seem's that not being voted worst company in America for the third time has made EA very happy, So happy in fact they are giving people free games "on the house".

First up grab you copy HERE. Unless your against EA giving you free things though their Origin service then you're done here. Dead Space is the first title in their "on the house" promotion. Which is a little different to other free game give always, actually it's a little closer to the Black Friday flash sales. Titles and DLC will randomly loose their price tags for a unset amount of time before returning to their previous price.

Abe's Take
Free games are always nice (though current internet opinion seems to demand more) and Dead Space is a great game. This offer whilst a little odd works well for EA as it will cause Gamers to "window shop" Origin's store looking for the deals

Sonic: Lost World FREE Zelda DLC Looks The Part

After the slightly lacklustre reviews of both the core game and the first Yoshi themed DLC, hopes wasn't exactly high for the next bout of free DLC. But the next chapter certainly looks the part.

Screenshot jacked from IGN, they have exclusive rights to the trailer for the moment.

The next DLC is Zelda themed and not only will Sonic gain links traditional tunic and hat but the content will also include a fully explorable, free roam Hyrule field. Not much is know about it other than there will be Zelda characters and creatures and not generic Sonic ones inserted into Hyrule.

The DLC will be out tomorrow March 27th, so Sonic: Lost World owners can tell us how great it is.

Abe's Take
Well done Sega you have my considering buying Lost World just for this content.
Looking at the screenshot I cant help but think that prehaps this is Sega's audition for making an Zelda game.

Oddworld: New n' Tasty Price, Sequel Detailed

The HD remake of Abe's Oddysee (not me!) has been slowly gaining media attention as it release date of "later this year" approaches and the game appears at various events. Now we know more about it's future.

First things first this isn't like the HD ports of recent years. They havent just grabbed the old game and made it bigger for modern TV's. This is a true HD remake, they have built everything from scratch, entirely from the ground up. It's $30 dollar price tag reflects this (when it hits over here it should be around £20). When asked Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning “This game will play better, look better, and you’ll have more fun with for more hours of play than games you’re paying $60 for. That’s a promise. And I can say that with absolute confidence. If this had a publisher, the price would be higher and they’d be calling in triple A.”

As for the series future? if New n' Tasty sells 250,000 units they will give the same treatment to Abe's Exoddus but if it sells 500,000 units then they will be able to craft an brand new Oddworld game.

New n' Tasty is set to release on PS3, PS4 and Vita later this year. With a PC and Wii U versions to follow. The Wii U will also receive Stranger Wrath HD after Nintendo directly contacted the developers and asked for it  CEO of Just add water the new developer of Oddworld had this to say “Indeed, their developer relations man is a fan of the franchise so reached out to us to ask for that title specifically, that’s where the discussions started. In terms of what are they like to work with, they’re fantastic. I’ve NEVER had a problem with working with Nintendo in respect of their people and teams, it’s been a case of a problem in terms of the hardware and indeed the lack of a competent digital outlet, until now.”

Abe's Take
As a fan of the Oddworld games i am grateful to see it return both in a true HD remake and possible fresh content.

Facebook Buy Oculus, Minecraft Leaves

Well I suspected someone was gonna buy Oculus but I wasn't expecting Facebook being the one to drop $2 Billion for it.

Facebooks plans to not just to produce games for the rift but also want to "extend" into additional services and social activities.

Mark "Facebook" Zuckerberg had this to say "Mobile is the platform of today, and now we're also getting ready for the platforms of tomorrow," Zuckerberg said in a statement. "Oculus has the chance to create the most social platform ever, and change the way we work, play and communicate."

On his Facebook timeline, Zuckerberg further discussed the acquisition. “After games, we're going to make Oculus a platform for many other experiences. Imagine enjoying a court side seat at a game, studying in a classroom of students and teachers all over the world or consulting with a doctor face-to-face -- just by putting on goggles in your home.”

“This partnership is one of the most important moments for virtual reality: it gives us the best shot at truly changing the world,” the Oculus team says. “It opens doors to new opportunities and partnerships, reduces risk on the manufacturing and work capital side, allows us to publish more made-for-VR content, and lets us focus on what we do best: solving hard engineering challenges and delivering the future of VR.”

Changing Views
Now a lot of hardcore gamers saw the Oculus Rift as the next step in gaming and the console's crushing defeat. This buy out is all ready changing peoples views on the tech. they are uncomfirmed reports of people attempting to cancel their kickstarter pledges.

But one person is publicly pulling his support is Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson who has cancelled Mincecraft for the platform. Clarifying his thoughts on his Blog "Facebook is not a company of grass-roots tech enthusiasts," Persson writes. "Facebook is not a game tech company. Facebook has a history of caring about building user numbers, and nothing but building user numbers."

He goes on to acknowledge that social might be a great use of VR technology (business meetings and virtual cinemas are two examples), but says unequivocally that he does not want to work in that space. Persson reinforces his interest in virtual reality, but is clear that he will pursue it in another way.

"I definitely want to be a part of VR, but I will not work with Facebook," he states. "Their motives are too unclear and shifting, and they haven’t historically been a stable platform. There’s nothing about their history that makes me trust them, and that makes them seem creepy to me."

Persson concludes by wishing both parties well after stating that he feels his $10,000 funding was simply used to build value for a Facebook acquisition.

Abe's View
I've been hesitant about VR and Oculus Rift in particular. Whilst i think the tech is amazing, I don't see people wanting to strap an monitor to their face when they want to relax (seeing as wearing 3D glasses is too much for some people). On a Practical note to truly have VR you need the headset, the Omi-directional treadmill and controls that work with each VR expiration. On a note slightly more lighter note who can trust the others in the room whilst your vision and hearing are occupied?

50 Unity Titles Coming to Wii U

Well it seems that Nintendo's lack of third party support is getting a untraditional boost - Unity powered Indie games.

Before the launch of the Wii U Nintendo announced a partnership with Unity. Bundling a Wii U Unity extension with all Unity engines and by offering unity free with every Wii U dev kit.

In an interview with Siliconera Damon Baker, Senior Marketing Manager at Nintendo of America's Licensing department, revealed that Unity for Wii U was proving pretty popular "Over the course of this show, we have nine games on display, (GDC)" Baker said. "We have 17 that are currently in the pipeline, that have been submitted. So they will all be out within the next two months." But then he dropped this info bomb "And then, we have another fifty that are waiting in the wings, that are coming; so we've got a lot of Unity content on the way."

News also comes that they are also attempting a similar deal with Unity for 3DS

Abe's Take
A lot has been said about the state of the Wii U's third party support but it's Indie support is hard to ignore.
I imagine that alot of console owners own multiple systems for different reasons. Nintendo consoles have always sold on the strength of their 1st party titles and the occasional 3rd party exclusives. I would be delighted to add Indie titles to the list of reasons

The Final Ultra Street Fighter IV Character Is Revealed

After month of teasing and hints Capcom finally announces the fifth and final USFIV character Decapre.

Decapre is the last of the dolls and a DNA clone of Cammy. Many online have misunderstood that as she is a pallet swap of Cammy. Decapre is Russian (like the rest of the Dolls is named after he birth month; December), She wears a mask to cover her burned face (likley at the hands of Vega) and is equipped with psycho energy claws for her close range attacks and whilst her specials have a Cammy/Doll feel to them they are all charged attacks and feature abilities such as teleport.

Check her out in the trailer below

Abe's Take
Capcom is taking some flak by online commenters for Ultra Street Fighter IV (the forth retail version of SFIV) and Decapre misunderstood status as "clone" isn't helping. However Capcom isn't expecting most SF IV players to buy this. The target for this release is tournament players with it's match recorder, direct Youtube uploading, the ability to play as different versions of the characters from the different SF IV releases and even it's release timing is geared towards the pro player, releasing the Digital version (both full and as DLC) in time for EVO 2014

Sale Titles Impressions

Picked up some titles in the sales. Due to the sales closing soon instead of review's I'll post impressions on the titles I've acquired

360 Sale - ends Monday
Foul Play currently £3.49

Fans of Castle Crashers, Side Scrollers and fans of characters named like Baron Dashford really should check out this side scrolling beat em up. The entire game is the "true" life stories of demon hunter Baron Dashford told though a stage show, complete with. All the bad guys are in-fact actors dressed in costumes. This game bleeds charm directly into your eyes.

Eternal Sonata currently £7.49

Fans of JRPG's and more precisely the 'Tales of...' games will enjoy this slightly odd VERY anime. The combat is turn based, though combat is free form. You are free to run around, attack, Use items and magic as you want within the time limit. The story is very much in the realms of anime. The game appears to be in a dying man's dream world. The art style doesn't look lifeless/doll like like a lot of anime games. The characters an nicely animated and designed.

3DS sale - ends Thursday

Steam Dig World currently £3.99

Steam Dig World can only be described as an Westen themed, Steampunk, metroid-vania, Terraria title. You'll explore a mine to find materials to sell and craft upgrades. as you explore the mine you'll discover caves which may hold upgrades like sprints and charge jumps that let you explore new areas. Much like the game's inspirations how it sounds and how it plays are different.

Mario Returns To... McDonalds

It's been a while but he's back. As part of a new health program for kids 8 new happy meal Mario toys will soon be available.

As part of a new "Run, Jump and Power-Up with Mario" promotion. Nintendo is teaming up with Mcdonalds (probably the cause of most childhood inactivity) to get kids active. There will be 8 figures available to collect. The toys will be available in store Wednesday 19 March and will run until 29th April

I'm not sure how effective these will be in making kids more active but will certainly lure in into my local McDonalds as I'm sure my "kids" want these. I also hope Nintendo uses this as a start for a marketing push for Wii U

Digital Sales and Releases Wii U & 360 Edition

This week we have both Nintendo's Thursday digital release and week 2 of the Luigi sale. But also Microsoft's latest Deal of the Week Sale. That's if you cant pry yourself away from Titanfall or Dark Souls 2

Wii U/3DS Releases
Pokemon Link: Battle! (3DS: Nintendo, £7.19) has you battling and catching 718 Pokemon - but now through the medium of those games middle-aged commuters love.

Yoshi's New Island (3DS: Nintendo, £34.99) An new entry in the long running Yoshi Island games

Cube Tactics (3DS: Teyon, £4.49) This is a "strategic and tactical war-game with cubes."... Right...

Cubit the Hardcore Platformer Robot (3DS: CoderChild, £2.69) might as well be called Bit.Trip Clone.

Double Dragon (Wii U Virtual Console: Arc System Works, £3.49) this was one of the first brawlers of its time and feels quite slow these days.

Super Dodge Ball (Wii U Virtual Console: Arc System Works, £3.49) actually started as a spin-off of Renegade, but took school's most vindictive sport as its basis for violence, and seems somehow more brutal for it.

Wii U/3DS Sales
On top of the new releases, Nintendo has rotated the discounts on Luigi-related games - this week you can grab Luigi's Mansion 2 for £31.99, Dr. Luigi is £8.99 and Super Mario Bros. 2 is £1.74 on Wii U and 3DS.

As for other sales, Runner 2 is now a satisfyingly-priced £3.33 and all of the excellent Zen Pinball games available on 3DS are £3.14 or less.

360 Deal of the Week

BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien - 67% off
Capsized - 67% off
Doodle Jump - 80% off
Foul Play - 67% off
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - 67% off
Hexodius - 50% off
Sanctum 2 - 67% off
Retro City Rampage - 50% off
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon - 50% off
Eternal Sonata - 50% off
Soul Calibur V - 75%

Abe's Take
I was hoping for Eternal Sonata to be a games with gold but £7.49 isn't a horrible price for an unique JRPG with music as a theme. £7.49 also isn't a bad price for EDF: IA, A good jumping on price for gamers unsure on the giant insect B-movie shooter. I've been dying for an excuse to buy Foul Play and £3.29 is an fantastic excuse, to play a side scrolling beat em up set on stage where as you play as a chap armed with a cane, top hat and monocle.

Titanfall's Final Resolution Not All That Final

Ah the unending debate between the PS4 and Xbox One and their games resolutions. Titanfall joins the fray with an interesting answer

Titanfall hits in just 4 days and finally they've announced the shipped versions resolution. 792p yep the weird resolution from the beta. Which for the record looked pretty damn great, Then again I wasn't able to focus on graphical quality after avoiding bullets, stealth soldiers, oh and giant robots but I digress

Respawn isn't happy with just leaving it there and are working on a patch. They plan on upgrading to 900p with anti-aliasing (less jaggies) or 1080p without. However they don't want to sacrifice anything in the game to achieve it. They haven't just left the game in it's beta form, They've improved what they have called 'worse cases' which is largely slow down in the frame rates.

Abe's Take
It's nice to hear a developer (that's not Nintendo) say they don't want to sacrifice for 1080p and it wouldn't be the first time a game got a resolution boost via patch. The PS4 versions of COD and Assassins Creed IV needed an 1080p patch.

The resolution argument is one that needs to end soon, as it seems to mean even less know Killzone has been tested and its multiplayer ISN'T running in 1080p

MGS V Ground Zeroes Details Blow Out

As Ground Zeroes release draws close we're starting to receive lots of details about the game and how it works with the main game Phantom Pain. Kojima seems to be trying more than just a sequel. So lets take a look at some of the recent details.

Price and Release
Ground Zeroes recently revived a price cut. The next gen versions are currently £28 and last gen versions £22 on Amazon. Prices in stores are slightly high £30 and £25 respectively and digital copies will be cheaper (probably only on last gen systems)
Ground Zeroes will hit stores March 21st and no release has been given for Phantom Pain though it is expected to hit around Christmas.

Length and Content
First up length Ground Zeroes main mission will take around 2 hours to finish but will also feature 5 side-ops that unlock after you finish the main mission. There is also a bonus preorder side-op that's unique to each platform (more on that shortly). Hideo Kojima is worried that the main game Phantom Pain is in fact too big as it is 200x the size of Ground Zeroes. I'm unsure if this means geography or game length which would clock in at 400 hours. During an interview with IGN he said "The Phantom Pain has the risk that people won't be able to finish the story as it will be more than 200x bigger than Ground Zeroes" which dose lean more to story duration. VIP's, Prisoners and Mother Base resources will transfer across to the Phantom Pain. So it seems Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker's base with it's staffing and equipment building will return which outside the Co-Op was my favourite feature from PW

Xbox users get Veja Vu which sets players as cyborg ninja Raiden (Woo...) as he hunts down body snatching aliens (nice to know MGS is still weird). Raiden will have a unique skill set and abilities.
Playstation users get Deja Vu which gives them an younger looking Snake in an Shadow Moses look alike. The gameplay will be the same but will feature new area. So multi console owners have a choice do they want more play styles or more area?

Companion App
Like almost every major AAA release Ground Zeroes will feature an companion app. The iDroid (see what you did their Kojima) will be released for Android, iOS and will be built into Smartglass for Xbox One. The app will Mirror snakes communication system from the game. it will offer a map, communicating with mother base and the ability to call in support (air-strikes). Sound like it'll work much like Dead Rising 3's Smart Glass companion.

Sensitive Content
Kojima wants to push what you can do in video games. Likening them to movies and books if you dont push the boundaries you limit what a narrative can do.

In his words "If we don't cross that line, if we don't make attempts to express what we really want to express, games will only be games. If we don't try to go beyond that, we won't be able to achieve what movies or novels have achieved. I didn't want to stay away from these things that could be considered sensitive. If we don't go that far, games will never be considered as culture. In games we have to go to the limit; we want to stay within this limit of how far...pushing the boundaries of conveying our message. We look around and we don't see too many games like this; that is unfortunate. One of the main topics of Metal Gear Solid V is this chain of revenge. That is something that I really didn't want to step back from, I really didn't want to go around it." It seems he is preparing for a backlash "I know that I will probably face a lot of criticism because of it but I really wanted to portray that accurately."

Great pains are being taken by reviewers to not spoil these sensitive elements, however I feel that it may of all ready been spoiled in a trailer for phantom pain

That was a lot of text so here's a picture of Snake seemingly exploding a man's face with his fist

Multiplayer
This came as a surprise to me despite being a parts of the series since metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence. Despite gathering a large following in Japan the Metal Gear Online never really stuck with western gamers. To hopefully combat this divide Kojima has transplanted the core MGO team to Konami's L.A. studio.
It's going to be some time before we see if this has worked as Multiplayer will be shipping with Phantom Pain

Tales of The Borderlands Trailer!

Lets get this straight right away this isn't Borderlands 3, This isn't a First Person Shooter. What is it? it's an Telltale Adventure games which means it's gold.

Not much can be gleamed from this trailer only that its set after the first game and either bother or during the second.  oh and Handsome Jack is back. Yep the psychotic star of Borderlands 2 is back.

The two new characters are expected to be the player. Well the girl seems likley as she is a con artist and those traits would work well in an adventure game. The Guy? He maybe related to Jack he seems to be bare a resemblance and is missing the same eye.

Child of Light Continues To Impress

A brand new Co-Op trailer for Child of Light as hit the web and as usualy its eye moisteningly beautiful.

The trailer below is supposed to highlight the games cooperative features, where a second player controls a fairy-like Sprite which aids in exploration and combat.

The Beauty of this game comes from the fact it runs in Ubisoft's UbiArt engine which lets their artists put their wonderful concept art directly into their game.

Child of Light will hit the Nintendo eShop, Xbox Live (360 & One), PSN and PC April 30th. Child of Light will cost £11.99

Titanfall Season Pass Detailed

Titanfall will indeed be receiving an season pass, just like every shooter on the market.

UPDATE: Vince Zampella head of Respawn has stepped forward with a response to claims the season pass and it's 'minimal' savings forced by EA “We’re not being pressured to do it [by EA], We’re going to do paid DLC, but we’re also going to do free updates. There are things that we want in the game that we didn’t get in the final game. So we’ll add private matches. We’re going to do a season pass, just because if you buy it up front, you get a deal. We’re not doing microtransactions. It’s just ‘buy it up front and you get a better price."

The season pass will hit the same day as the game and will cost £19.99 and will feature three "planned" content drops at a discounted price. The pack will feature "challenging maps" and is being do simply to offer fans "a good deal". It has been confirmed unlike recent cross gen season passes Titan-falls pass WILL NOT transfer between the two systems. Which reinforces the rumour the 360 version isn't exactly the same as the One version

Its been confirmed the long dead online pass will not return for Titanfall (surprise... Not!) and there will be zero micro-transactions.

Pre-Order Titanfall Here for £42

Abe's Take.
Season Passes have a bad rep for offering a deal to those who know they'll be buying all the DLC and often come with a sweetener that gives an imitate benefit. I've bought a few DLC Season Passes and have only been slightly burned once when Borderlands 2 started getting "unplanned content" but I still got the content I paid for.

If more content beyond the 3 packs I wonder how EA will handle selling Titanfall DLC along side this years Battlefield (rumoured to be Police based) Activision face a similar issue with Destiny and CoD

Xbox One Project Spark Beta Now

After delays, misinterpretation and general teasing the One version of the beta is available.

Sadly it's not a case of simply downloading the Beta as you need to Sign Up to join in the fun. There will be a new bout of Invites sent out on Thursday.

Even if you don't get into the Beta don't worry the 'game' is in certification and will be FREE to everybody. Additional theme packs will be available for a price. Apparently it will be possible to edit your game via PC and Xbox One at the same time.

Project Spark is looking great, I've seen recreations of Limbo, Minecraft, Trials, Asteroids and even a recreation of Oakvale from Fable 1.

Batman: Arkham Knight Annouced

The Dark Knight returns for one last time. Fresh off the last round of rumours and teases we now know Arkham Knight is coming.

The first and final (!?!?!?!) next-gen Arkham game has finally appeared from the shadows and it is impressive. Will feature Gotham 'In it's entirety' and will mark the first time we can use the Bat-mobile, which apparently will tie into Batman's traditional Grapple & Glide system and made the games designers widen the city streets to accommodate the vehicle.

Check out the Trailer

Leaked images from the GAME site suggest Arkham Knight will feature a pre-order bonus letting you play as Harley Quinn in challenge maps. A tradition that started in the PS3 version of Arkham Asylum with the Joker, Arkham City had Catwoman and Robin, Origins had Deathstroke.

UPDATE - an possible US release date has appeared OCT 14 2014 which is about right

Xbox Live Sale 4/3

Another week another sale and this week there is some nice deals. Gunslinger and Castlevania lead the charge

There are some good Arcade titles on off this week
  • Bang Bang Racing -£2.22
  • Call of Juarez: Gunslinger - £2.49
  • Castlevania: LOS Mirror of Fate HD - £4.99
  • Galaga Legions DX - £2.22
  • I am Alive - £2.49
  • Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - £1.68
There is reasonable offers on retail downloads
  • Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox 360) - £36.84
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts - £33.49

Abe's Take
The offers this week are nice. I was just about to pick up Gunslinger anyway so there's a win. I was considering picking up Mirrior of Fate for 3DS this weekend... unsure now. If i can convince some local players I'll grab Scott Pilgrim too

Call Of Duty Free On Xbox This Weekend

Enjoy Call of Duty multiplayer but don't enjoy paying for the next version? Well this week end maybe your chance.

This weekend Call of Duty: Ghosts will have a free multiplayer event. The Free 'Demo' will be available to Gold users on Xbox 360 and One.

The demo will feature 3 maps and game modes as well as the Cooperative Extinction  mode. Demo players will be separated from the owners of the game (no easy kills for you veterans) but progression will not transfer back to the main game should you decide to buy.

Abe's Take
This is clearly because of Titanfall recent beta and impending release. It's good Activision is offering a free slice of the game but for me a weekend of Call of Duty is enough. I think I'll play it on both systems, checking out the Next Gen difference.

Monday News Lump 3/3

Ultra Street Fighter 4
USF4 will feature 'edition select' which allows you to pick which version of character you want SF4, SSF4, SSF4:AE and ultra. Changing the characters stats, frames, hit boxes, ultra moves and cross guarding to match that game. If that meant nothing to you skip on. I recall this feature appearing in Street Fighter 2 anniversary and is expected to make appearances in NEXT years tournaments

DayZ Team Doubles
News comes that as the team is preparing a large survival update, it has doubled in size. Could this hint at console development?

Mass Effect Remastered?
It seems Bioware is discussing if they should do an "Remastered" trilogy for next gen systems. Apparently the discussion is all ready up to how they'd remaster it. Would it be a simple texture increase or would they address any issues like the Mass Effect 3 biggy (Tali's Face!)

Rumour - Hush To Be Villain In Next Batman

Coming off the news that various Gamestop stores in America have received Batman promo materials dated for today comes an new info

News comes today from the Batman: Hush Facebook page which posted the above image and caption "Remember a little appearance by somebody in Arkham City? Well things may be abut to get more interesting next month..." So could Hush be the new games primary villain? It would be to early to announce side characters and sub bosses. He's appearance in Arkham City certainly suggests he'll have a big part to play SPOILER where he copied the face of Bruce Wayne SPOILER

It's also worth noting the leaked promo materials don't reference Arkham just Batman.

Abe's Take
Hush could easily take over from Joker in a new Rocksteady developed Batman game, though I suspect the Clown's presence will be missed. In someways its a shame that Arkham Origins folded and added Joker into it's line up. If it didn't feature the Clown Prince of Crime it'd take the Joker-less bullet.
My question is how dose this tie into Azreal's prophecy fit into Hush?

Games With Gold - March

Well this months games with gold will no doubt re-spark the row about PS+ having "better" games, However I think these months games are pretty great.

The first game available this month (1st -15th) is Civilisation Revolution, a remiggiered version of the PC classic and the best its ever been (on consoles). I own this on the PS3 and was my entry point into the franchise. It boils the game down to it's more basic elements but is still a damn fine game. There is also free DLC available.

This month's second game (16th - 31st) is Dungeon Defenders, An Co-Op Action RPG/Tower Defence hybrid (the 4th Tower Defence game in the Games With Gold promotion). Though the PC version got an lot of extra content the XBLA version was pretty darn good. In fact it's split-screen demo kept us entertained for a week. The fact that this is free should mean there'll be no shortage of co-op partners this month.
