For those who haven't yet seen the trailer for the new DLC which dropped yesterday, here it is!
*Available on Steam for $6.99/£5.50
This is the first paid character DLC that they have released, and while a lot of people will probably complain (since Nea and the Nurse were free), you will still get to play against the new Killer and on the new map regardless of purchase or not.
Dead by Daylight has been needing a new killer since the last one was released. The Nurse, while terrifying and in desperate need of medical help herself, was the scariest thing to happen to Dead by Daylight. Until yesterday.

Rise of the Tomb Raider DLC
So, it's been 20 years to the day that Tomb Raider has graced our consoles with its presence. It goes without saying that it has become iconic and a well-known part of the gaming circle of life, who hasn't seen or heard of it, let's be honest here.
With the new content for 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' recently released for such an occasion, it seems fitting to review it under the same circumstance.
There'll be writing about the multiplayer first, and then throwing 'SPOILER WARNING' for Blood Ties, because I can't honestly write about it and not talk about what happened. It's just not in me. Also, if you haven't got the DLC yet, shame on you.

Destiny's True Expansion Pack Outed?
There was plenty of flaws in Destiny, which was a shame considering how great the gameplay was. Whether the complaints was about the RNG loot drops (which became an requirement to progress), the light story content, the seemingly barebones competitive multiplayer or actual content to play. it was all valid complaints.
The hope was that the "expansion packs" Bungie and Activision was meant to fix this. However both packs cost £19.99 each and only added three story missions, three multiplayer maps, 1 raid or survival mode and a smattering of new exotic weapons and armours. Since launch the MP maps from the first expansion "Dark Below" are now free for everyone further driving the value down. However Bungie have routinely updated the core games systems addressing some of those complaints for free.
An old leak suggested there was 4 of these "expansion packs" on their way and in between the first 2 and last two was a far larger pack codenamed comet. This would feature new worlds, new missions, a new subclass for each class and new 2 weapon classes. This would also be available as a game of the year style retail package containing the three packs and full game.
It was rounded this pack was named "The Taken King" after it was trademarked a few months back but now we have this Red Bull promotional multipack box.
The above pack says Red Bull customers will be able to receive bonus XP (for now) and a "Epic Quest in The Taken King" whether this epic quest is actual mission content or just an exclusive bounty chain we don't know.
Abe's Take
Destiny's core gameplay and co-op is rock solid and consistently fun. That being said the lack of content along with the change from XP to gear based leveling quickly soured the game for many. I know a few of us here have been holding off buying any of the inappropriately named (and priced) "expansion packs" due to this upcoming bundle pack. If this TTK pack is as content rich we'll be happy to jump back in.

Halo: ODST Drops In!
The Halo: Master Chief Collection just got it's title voided. As new DLC adds the first Halo spin off to the bumper collection.
Yep, The divisive Halo title joins Halo 1 - 4 on remastered in 1080p/60FPS on Xbox one today. Free if you bought the collection before December 9th and an awfully low £3.99 for everyone else. Why the low price? well ODST's instant classic Firefight mode is absent for the remaster.
Halo: ODST for those unaware is an spin off on Earth during the events of Halo 2. Instead of the traditional Spartan, players take on the role of a team of Orbital Drop Shock Troops. Players are greeted by a night time open world where they must discover the fate of their squad via flashbacks of the previous day. People either enjoyed the unique challenge of playing as a comparatively squishy human or hated feeling so depowered.
For those wishing to join in the fight from scratch the Halo: Master Chief Collection is currently £24.85 on Amazon, Seeing as the games earlier matchmaking problems (rather understandable due to over 100 maps) are now largely a thing of the past, it's a good price for a hell of a package.
Abe's Take
I enjoyed ODST spin on the Halo universe, The Firefly reunion cast alone is worth the price. ODST Buck not only has Nathan Fillion's voice but also his face. I wonder if 343i have left in Bungie's Destiny tease

The Final Ultra Street Fighter IV Character Is Revealed
After month of teasing and hints Capcom finally announces the fifth and final USFIV character Decapre.
Decapre is the last of the dolls and a DNA clone of Cammy. Many online have misunderstood that as she is a pallet swap of Cammy. Decapre is Russian (like the rest of the Dolls is named after he birth month; December), She wears a mask to cover her burned face (likley at the hands of Vega) and is equipped with psycho energy claws for her close range attacks and whilst her specials have a Cammy/Doll feel to them they are all charged attacks and feature abilities such as teleport.
Check her out in the trailer below
Abe's Take
Capcom is taking some flak by online commenters for Ultra Street Fighter IV (the forth retail version of SFIV) and Decapre misunderstood status as "clone" isn't helping. However Capcom isn't expecting most SF IV players to buy this. The target for this release is tournament players with it's match recorder, direct Youtube uploading, the ability to play as different versions of the characters from the different SF IV releases and even it's release timing is geared towards the pro player, releasing the Digital version (both full and as DLC) in time for EVO 2014

GTA Online Gets More Business
Sadly this isn't a mission DLC it is however FREE
Much like the "Bloody Valentine" DLC that released this month the "Business Update" will add 3 cars, 1 plane, 2 weapons, and more clothes but unlike the Bloody Valentine DLC this update isn't timed (VB items will be unavailable to buy after this Sunday).
This DLC pack will hit next week (March 4th) and all its items will be business themed (Personally I am unsure how a "Advanced Carbine" or "Heavy Pistol" are 'Business') and will feature an large amount of suits, vests, trousers, masks (what!?) and dresses. The Vehicles are all high end sports and supercars (I spy a Zonda-a-like)
So looks like GTA: Online will be more formal place after March 4th. Though I don't think my character can be MORE formal

Ryse Content Creator Scrapped
The fabled mission editor has been shelved in favour of more DLC both free and paid. It's sad to hear something be scrapped at least the title will continue to be supported.

Hideo Kojima Looking For Replacement
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima wants to hand over the title to fresh blood but hopes to 'push MGS towards GTA' not entirely sure exactly what he means by that. He is looking at doing other games but also moving on to books and film. I think people will be more accepting of a new team if the game was Metal Gear and not Solid

Dead Rising 3: Fallen Angel Available Now(ish)
Second DLC Arrives
In this second DLC we take on the role of Angel an member of the illegals which will be a nice change of place from the last DLC where we played on the slightly (read as: largely) sinister side of the story.
Angel leads a group of survivors whom she must keep safe from the government. Thankfully, she brings with her new weapons, a new outfit, and a food truck for those heavy undead traffic situations. All of these carry back into Nick’s adventure in the base game too.
Sadly the DLC isn't Co-op and possible SPOILER I believe we may of seen Angel's body in the hotel during the main game. (highlight to reveal) DLC will cost £7.99 or FREE is you have the season pass
