Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army Coming To 'Consoles'

Ah is there no greater license to print money than Nazi Zombies? They are the very bottom of the guilt rating at a score on 0.0 even the most Christian of parents could concede killing Nazi Zombies is okay (probably not).

So looks like Rebellion are finally bringing the Sniper Elite V2 spin off to consoles. Apprently they are still hammering out the details with the Hardware makers (please Wii U version) about bringing their game to our home machines. Though they are listed as one of 200 ID@Xbox devs so i suspect they will appear on next gen systems.

It seems that we'll be getting more than just a bundle. Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley commented "We can't say much yet but it won't just be a re-package of the first two games - there will be plenty of new content to get stuck into" Which would be nice. The team is also working on Sniper Elite V3 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Minecraft The Movie?

Seems dominating the PC, Mobile and Console markets. It looks like Minecraft now has it sights set on Hollywood

Notch took to twitter to pre leak the project's existence "Someone is trying leak the fact that we're working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft Movie. I wanted to be the leak!" Obviously the 'Potential' part of the tweet means it may not happen. 

I know some people are thinking "how could you do a move about blocks and building?" but i'd like to point you to the Lego movie; a movie about 'blocks and building'. Entertainment News Website deadline is claiming the Lego Movie team are being ear marked for the project, which would make a lot of sense.

Minecraft recently hit 1 million sales on PS3, 10 Million on 360 and 100 Million on PC. Minecraft was recently referenced as the reason PC gaming has come back to the lime light and certainly is the reason for the recent spotlight on indie games. 

Minecraft is set to hit Xbox One, PS4 and Vita later this year.

GTA Online Gets More Business

Sadly this isn't a mission DLC it is however FREE

Much like the "Bloody Valentine" DLC that released this month the "Business Update" will add 3 cars, 1 plane, 2 weapons, and more clothes but unlike the Bloody Valentine DLC this update isn't timed (VB items will be unavailable to buy after this Sunday).

This DLC pack will hit next week (March 4th) and all its items will be business themed (Personally I am unsure how a "Advanced Carbine" or "Heavy Pistol" are 'Business') and will feature an large amount of suits, vests, trousers, masks (what!?) and dresses. The Vehicles are all high end sports and supercars (I spy a Zonda-a-like)

So looks like GTA: Online will be more formal place after March 4th. Though I don't think my character can be MORE formal

Metal Gear Solid Creators Gets Blocky

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has finally 'made' it. Kojima-San has become an Lego mini-figure

Sadly this isn't an Metal Gear: Lego announcement and I suspect this wont be for sale for the rest of us.
This appears to be in response to Kojima's recent Twitter activity, in which he praises the lego movie saying he'll see it "at least two more times" and how in his opinion the movie is better than Pixar's fan favourite Toy Stoy

Whilst this is little more than an thank you from lego I cant help but wonder what a Lego: Metal Gear would be like. Also this continues to show Lego's cool side. They currently have a series of full size Minecraft sets and have even helped Nintendo with their direct presentation.

Titanfall Resolution Lottery - UPDATE

Oh Titanfall you made an impression at E3, Gamescon and wherever you showed your face and as the hype built the rumours began to swirl. Was you a timed exclusive? No. Was your hype bought and the play tests faked? No. Now do you run at 1080p? Well? 

UPDATE- Seems Titanfall wont be running at 1080p 'at launch'. studio founder Vince Zampella shot down the 1080p rumour with an simple 'no'. This lead to another rumour appeared saying that the Beta version's graphics was enhanced and that the final game (on Xbox One) will run at 720p and use the 25% textures from the closed alpha. This apprently annoyed Respawn's producer Drew Mckoy who took to Reddit "I don't know how many times it can be stated clearly and officially - both of those claims are false, have been false, and will continue to be false,"  

That appears to be today's Anti Titanfall rumour. According to RUMOUR Titanfall will only run at 720p at 60FPS. This would be strange seeing as the recent beta ran at 792p (an odd number granted). As the beta wound down Respawn Community Manager Abbie Heppe suggested the final game will run at 900p (same as Ryse) when approached about today's rumour Miss Heppe said "We're not dropping the resolution for launch, Nothing has changed from what we've said in recent interviews." 

A second rumour from a validated reddit users claims the opposite is true "I can tell you Titanfall has gone gold and the final resolution is most def above 720p, That's all I can say." Dose this mean Titanfall will run at 1080p 60FPS? 

Dose it even matter what resolution it runs at on a system that up scales to 1080p anyway?

I along with 2 Million other played the beta and I cant speak for the other 1.9 million but I thought it look amazing though admittedly I wasn't able to count the pixels across as I was to busy trying to running along buildings, avoiding being stood on and taking down giant mechs

DayZ Creator Exits
Well not yet, but 2014 will be last year with DayZ and its developer. He plans on setting up an new studio in New Zealand and will focus on new multiplayer games.

Ryse Content Creator Scrapped
The fabled mission editor has been shelved in favour of more DLC both free and paid. It's sad to hear something be scrapped at least the title will continue to be supported.

Hideo Kojima Looking For Replacement
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima wants to hand over the title to fresh blood but hopes to 'push MGS towards GTA' not entirely sure exactly what he means by that. He is looking at doing other games but also moving on to books and film. I think people will be more accepting of a new team if the game was Metal Gear and not Solid

Batman: Arkham Origins- Blackgate - Deluxe Edition Comfirmed

Contender for longest title B:AO:B:DE joins the handheld port club (for the sake of my fingers i shall refer to the game as 'Batman')

Batman follows Monster Hunter 3U, Resident Evil: Revelations, Mirror of Fate and Assassins Creed: Liberation from their hand held homelands on to home systems. This version of the 2.5D sequel will feature HD textures, bonus skins, a new map and hint system and full voice acting.

The game will be heading to 360, PS3, PC and Wii U on April 2nd and will cost £15.99

I wasn't expecting this to be release on Wii U considering Arkham Origins pulling its DLC support. I'm always a little upset when an Handheld title gets an HD re-release as the extra content never arrives on the original version

Monster Hunter Frontier GG box art hits the web. Looks... Colonial

MHFGG is the Ultimate versions of the Ultimate version of Monster Hunter Frontier the online only branch of the Monster Hunter family. This versions adds to the all ready mighty pile of content which includes almost every monster, weapon, armour and feature from the core games and its portable spin-off's and adds in a huge amount of extra exclusive content. GG will also give the game an full on HD make over. ALSO! an brand new weapon Type -Tonfa

Capcom is apparently looking to release GG westward but has no details to give (if it dose launch here winter of 2015 seems likely) . GG will update the PC version and also be launched on Wii U, PS3 and VITA

Farcry 4 Rumour Round Up

Right so I was strolling around the internet and came across a rich vain of rumours regarding everyone's favourite open world FPS.

 This was the first thing I bumped into. An apparently *leaked* teaser for Farcry 4 which raises questions *SPOILER* with Vas being dead and all but this is a video game about being insane so he could still be around or this could be a prequel *SPOILER* Nobody has been able to confirm if the picture is real or fake, however the picture contains the date 4-04-2014 which would be a good time for a reveal as its just before a week before PAX East and a few months before E3, the perfect time to build hype for a winter launch.

Other rumours include the game having RPG elements, Co-op and separate online component. The setting for the next game according to rumour? The Himalayas! don't worry that this means the game will be full of snow. The Himalayas region covers all sorts of environments; From snow capped peaks all the way down to sub tropical forests. So the Fancy next gen systems will get a nice work out

I doubt the image being a real teaser, it could be concept art from Farcry 3 mocked up for the *leak* however the other details about the game could be true as Ubisoft has experimented with all these things before in their rather large catalogue

Kingdom Come-s To Next Gen

War Horse games are bringing their massively successful Kickstarter-funded Cryengine 3-powered Kingdom Come: Deliverance to Xbox One and PS4. The best way to descirbe Kingdom Come is a realistic take on Skyrim. Whilst the lack of dragon and magic might turn some off, the focus on sword play, horse combat, castle sieges and large scale battles will surely win back some folk.

We may have to wait a little while to get our hands on this but it should be an fresh take on the RPG genre dominated by the likes of Elder Scrolls.

Harmonix Announces New Game: Chroma

Harmonix's new games is exactly what you don't think it is. 

First things first - WATCH THE TRAILER

Yep you guess it, it is a rhythm based free to play FPS. Yeah its gonna need some explaining. At its most basic level Chroma is an FPS a fair bit like what you've played befor except moving and attacking in time to the levels backing track. Increases damage, speed and so on

This game NEED Daft Punk

Chroma’s  four classes range from traditional shooter-style mechanics to hardcore rhythm gameplay. The Assault class is the closest thing to a “standard” shooter, armed with a SMG that lets you spray and pray with as little regard for the soundtrack as Chroma will allow. His secondary weapon is a grenade launcher that can be fired at any time, but the grenade will only explode on the downbeat of the map’s music.

Far on the other end of the spectrum is the Engineer, who absolutely requires that you understand rhythm. His primary weapon is a pair of pistols, and as soon as they’re equipped, two familiar Rock Band-style note lanes appear on screen. Using the left and right triggers on a controller, you’ll have to match the beat to the notes on screen, though thankfully you’ll be locked on to your target while doing so. The Engineer’s secondary weapon is a shotgun that also requires you to match the beat, but without the advantage of being locked on. Harmonix notes that while playing as the Engineer, the patterns in the note lane repeat, so once you’ve learned the arrangement you’ll be able to pay more attention to the battlefield than the falling notes.

The other classes fill the gaps in between. Your class and load outs aren't the only thing customisable in Chroma you can even pick what type of music your weapon fires (awesome sentence by the way) and the team has gone to great lengths to ensure even if you pick rock and your friends pick jazz (i am 50% sure Jazz isn't a choice) it'll still sound good blasting across the battlefield. They hope that when you guys sort your teams out you'll do it like setting up a band.

Sadly at the moment there is no plan for licensed music (DAFT PUNK!) but they refuse to sell anything that could affect the games balance.

According to a NeoGaf user and apparent code wizard who has peered into the vortex of numbers and letters that is the coding for the beta and claims to of discovered the full game will feature 30 weapons. Including something called a Titan sniper (unsure if this is for Titans or Against). 15 levels and Split screen (!?!)0

Xbox One Update Surprise
The recent Xbox One update has disabled a sharpness filter when the Xbox One upscales. This should mean less jaggies on sub 1080p games

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes joins resolution-gate
MGS:GZ will run at 1080p on PS4 and 720p on Xbox One

Cheaper Digital Games Test

New Transformers Game Announced :Rise Of The Dark Spark

New transformers game set in the fantastic (War for/ Fall Of) 'Cybertron Universe' announced for all systems (bar Vita)

There are two buts here. Bottom No.1 Its not made by High Moon Studios, the makers of the last 2 fantastic games and Bottom No.2 Activision says its been made to 'marry' the previous games with the movie universe... yes the Micheal Bay Movie universe... You can play as Grimlock though. The game will have the same feature set as the previous game (single player, multiplayer and Co-op horde mode)



Abe's Take
Lets address those issues here, Whilst not developed by High Moon (they don't seem to be in good shape after the staff cuts, Deadpools poor performance and activision's knack for punishing anything but gold)  it is developed by Edge of Reality, who handled the console version of Dragon Age (one), the PS3 version of Mass effect (one) and various Activison ports for Nintendo consoles over the last 16 years. So it shouldn't be made badly. (3DS version is being developed by go to 3DS devloper Wayforward)

Issue 2 is harder to talk away, especially since there is all ready a graphic novel series linking the Cybertron games to the rather excellent Transformers Prime series, a lot of the previous games fan praised it for NOT being involved with the films. Another alarm bell is the game is slated for this year and the 4th movie is due out this summer and the trailer has the minor wiff of 'movie tie in'

Games With Gold February Part 2

War, huh, yeah - What is it good for - Absolutely nothing. Coincidentally the Price of XBLA exclusive Toy Soldiers: Cold War for the rest of the month.

The latest member of the Games With Gold Club is the XBLA title Toy Soldiers: Cold War. A tower defense/ third person shooter hybrid set on a table top with toys. You must place defense in order to prevent enemy toys from reaching your toybox, however unlike other titles you can posses turrets, tanks and special units (such as the Rambo-alike above) and control them directly Dungeon Keeper style (which you should have for free by now) allowing you to get in the thick of battle. The Commando spouts some fantastic nonce-sense much like a drunk Rambo. The game features an campaign mode, vs modes and split-screen co-op and well worth the price tag of FREE


Abe's Take
The Games with Gold program has drawn some flak for not offering recent games like its rival PSN, however unlike the PSN instant games collection you KEEP your games if you cancel your subscription fee and increases sales of its featured games as people without gold or missed a game are "persuaded" to buy it afterwards. My only issues with it so far is the games so far is that i've had some of them but not their sequels/prequels. An issue that'll disappear when it hits Xbox One later this year

Had a little hands on last night WARNING there is a fair amount of tutorial and only half of it is needed.

My brief hands on was fantastic and full of "did you see that?" Moments. My personal favourite was wall running up a wall divining though the Window and kicking an enemy player to death

Left 4 Dead Creators New Game Evolve Shares Some Secrets

Evolve is finally showing itself off after offering preorder without showing an single frame of the game.

First up with have this lovely new trailer, The characters are examples of each of the in-game classes. Note: Each class has multiple characters with their own layouts and skills

When asked what kinds of monsters will players be facing Phil Robb said "We've got some monsters planned that are pretty weird," Robb told us. "The monsters all sort of share a similar origin - they are not native to this planet. You don't really know what their motivations are but yeah, they're all sort of from the same family, I guess you could say. But they look very different - they're different monsters that move very differently and have very different styles of attacks" sounds like they'll be quite different even down to healing, "He [Goliath] has a very specific way that he heals," Robb went on. "But the other monsters will be very different from him. Obviously, I can't talk about the details, but I'll let you... you can sort of let your imagination wander and you might not be far off from the mark as to what to expect from them."

So much like the teams previous game Left 4 Dead replay value will be a big factor in the game. Each of the beasties WONT be tied to certain levels

More titanfall codes incoming

More codes are on their way after an apparent issues caused them to stop sending them late last night.

Damn them!

Originally there was meant to be a steady stream of invites till the 17th but they stopped last night. It seems someone hit send before everything was ready and some people received codes from the wrong system and others received codes all ready used by the press (IGN, OXM ect) in the press Beta.

So it looks like those who didn't get any codes (DAMN THEM!) don't have to worry yet. codes will continue to be sent until the 17th. beta will end on the 18th.

GoG.com and Humble Bundle are personal gaming heroes of mine, Both other great games, good prices and zero DRM. (Humble Bundle dose this for charity) though i suspect that this is damage control for the release of the Free-To-Play version of dungeon Keeper on Mobile and Table. But I am happy to pick up these two as compensation for paying the app for 30 seconds. I hope sales of this will nudge EA into making a 3rd game or (HD and Online) remakes of the original games.

DayZ & Rust Looking at Xbox One & PS4

DayZ - A rarity a gun NOT point at your back

DayZ creator Dean Hall has revealed that he has "extensive discusions" with Microsoft about bringing his zombie "Survival Sim" and is prepared to bring it to "Any feasible platform with a realistic publishing model". Mr Hall was careful to be clear that he still thinks PC is his lead platform "I personally feel the new consoles have yet to prove themselves able to rival the PC experience, however I feel there is the potential from both." despite briefly saying he was considering an PS4 release in the past this was before Microsoft reversed its self publishing rules and formed ID@XBOX program, but now seems to of swung the other way "I've not personally had the opportunity to view the full details of the PS4 whereas I have had the opportunity to talk extensively with Microsoft. The next-gen consoles show very exciting promise. I'm hopeful that they can deliver on that." He hopes to bring the "edginess" of the PC development to consoles 

Rust - Scared, Naked and Alone... till your not

Rust is also looking at console releases and actually creator Garry Newman has recently received Xbox One dev kits, though he suspects it'll be some time before a possible version could be release due to the fact the games is in early alpha (like DayZ) and neither Sony or Microsoft have an early access styles system for unfinished games.

Rust's player murder is vaguely more justified simple because it isn't pitching it self as a "Zombie Survival Sim" and feels a little bit like a realistic Minecraft



Both games are massive success. Rust has clear 1 million sales in a little over a month and i set to follow Minecrafts lighting path, it's a little harder to track DayZ's true success since it started life as a mod for ARMA 2 and continues to be supported as the Stand Alone alpha is being developed.

Both games would be welcomed additions to consoles and much like Minecraft's console port may provide a more stable (performance and visual) experience/

Sorry got distracted looking at the Titanfall controller (Which i can not find anywhere!)

And we're back. Turns out the team over at Respawn have been fiddling with the controllers firmware... Yes apprently the Xbox One pads have adjustable firmware (i'm sure that wont be exploited), the team have tighten up he sensitivity to reduce it's twitch and will support Surround Sound Stereo headsets out the box.

Dose this mean those lucky people who got the special pad (not bitter at all... DAMN THEM) have an edge over the rest of us? No. The firmware will be available for all controllers when the New Xbox One headset released

Elsewhere the Respawn team is working with Microsoft's tech team and are tuning up the Xbox One's upscaler. When they are finished upscaled games (Ryse, CoD Ghosts and Battlefield 3) will look even better

Mashahiro Sakurai known for the Smash Bro's series and teasing on Miiverse is at it again, This isn't the first time he's teased an Direct reveal. Last Time he teased what turned out to be Rosalina's addition to the roster 

"Tomorrow is Valentine's Day...and the day the new Nintendo Direct airs! It will stream in Japan at 7 AM so it's going to be a very early morning for us...!" 

Considering the theme of Spring games i suspect this will be an character announcement and maybe an release period . I guess we'll see at 10pm tomorrow... PM!

Direct Returns After Some Time Away

Tomorrow we'll see the first direct in A) a fair while and B)Since they announced their big plans after Nintendo's Investor meeting.

It'll air tomorrow at 10PM Watch it Here and Will cover Wii U and 3DS games coming by the end of spring.

The late air time isn't the only unusual thing about this Direct Satoru Shibata and not Satoru Itawa will be hosting the Direct.

I wonder what wonderful odd-ness will be present, predictions range from the likely Mario Golf, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8 release dates to the outrageous - luigi's mansion 3 for Wii U, Expansion system dor the Wii u to boost its power to that of Xbox One/PS4 

Metal Gear Solid 5 was almost very 80's

80's Filter Was a Part of the Game

Kojima's Metal Gear Solid team had experimented with a filter that would make the game look as if it had be recorded on an 1980's camera.

Here's Kojima-San's Tweets explaining

"RUSH" had very 70's texture & tone of film. In fact we studied 80's image & developed "80's filter" for MGSV as TPP is placed in 1984. CONT

(CONT) But when we actually implemented full screen effect, it was too heavy that slowed the system down so we had to take it out.

Some people are claiming this is proof that the Next Gen is holding back PC development. I don't agree as PC games are rarely held back by the console versions and i'm not even sure there will be a pc version of MGS V

The trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5 from Microsoft's E3 event blew me away and i cant wait to play it

Titanfall Beta Site Live UPDATE Game Modes Revealed

The Beta starts on the 14th February - so the first day will be filled with the single and the soon to be single.
The Beta invites will be sent right up until the 17th.

UPDATE

The beta will have three modes, Attrition, Hardpoint Domination and Last Titan Standing.
In Attrition, teams win by eliminating anyone or anything on the opposing side - pilots, titans and AI soldiers. So that's your team deathmatch covered.

In Hardpoint Domination, teams will capture and hold three hardpoints throughout the map to earn points and secure victory. So that Domination/conquest sorted.

In Last Titan Standing, everyone on both teams starts with a titan in a round-based mode that ends when one team has lost all of their titans. There's no respawning and no replacement titans can be called down. A take on team deathmatch with big burly robots and limited lives.

Monster Hunter Fans UNITE! Series producer and the face of MonHun announcements Ryozo Tsujimoto will be visiting the UK and no doubt he'll probably have some details on upcoming Monster Hunter games. Most likely Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and less likely Monster Hunter Frontier G (if it get released over her will probably called Ultimate). The last hunter gatherings gave people a surprise sneak peak at Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate before the official reveal online.

Second DLC Arrives

In this second DLC we take on the role of Angel an member of the illegals which will be a nice change of place from the last DLC where we played on the slightly (read as: largely) sinister side of the story.

Angel leads a group of survivors whom she must keep safe from the government. Thankfully, she brings with her new weapons, a new outfit, and a food truck for those heavy undead traffic situations. All of these carry back into Nick’s adventure in the base game too.

Sadly the DLC isn't Co-op and possible SPOILER I believe we may of seen Angel's body in the hotel during the main game. (highlight to reveal) DLC will cost £7.99 or FREE is you have the season pass

Much like at Christmas, Rockstar are delivering "themed" content for Feb 14th. You'd be forgiven for thinking its was for 1950's Gangster day. The download will be free but only available for a short time on the day before disappearing into the digital ether. 

So what dose this VALENTINES DAY content get you? well...

New weapon: Gusenberg Sweeper

Nothing says "I love you" quite like the warm wooden grip and cold steel barrel of a Gusenberg Sweeper machine gun. Get it from any Ammu-Nation location in GTA Online (in Story Mode, the Sweeper is automatically deposited into each character's weapon inventory with two full clips and additional ammo can be purchased at Ammu-Nation).

New vehicle: Albany Roosevelt

Paint the town red in the classically-inspired Albany Roosevelt. This armored 1920s limousine is perfect for gangsters and their molls. To properly run amok with the new Roosevelt, get in the driver's seat and let your friends or Crewmates hang off the side, firing and taking out your rivals as you pass them by. The Roosevelt can be accessed from any garage property in Story Mode and is available in GTA Online from the legendarymotorsport.net in-game website.

New attire

Dress to the nines in a host of new double breasted suits and 1920s flapper dresses, or bare it all in sexy undergarments while going incognito with a selection of new masquerade masks. There are also new novelty t-shirts, hats and more available in stores throughout Los Santos, plus a new Flapper Bob hairstyle exclusively for the ladies.

10 New jobs

The Valentine's Day Massacre also includes 10 new Jobs scattered like the remnants of a broken heart throughout the world of GTA Online, including Deathmatches, a new Parachute Jump and new land, sea and cycling Races.

rockstar also teased we'll soon have in on future content including Online Heists, something called the 'Dangerous Business Pack,' an expansion to the Creator tool and more

Xbox One Update Update UPDATED

It appears today's Xbox one update has been delayed till "this week" the reason for the delay was polish.

It is worth noting OXM.co.uk this morning posted an trouble shooting guide for the new update.

UPDATE 1

Details on the march Titanfall related update have appeared

- Get to your friends list faster. The friends list will be front and center on the homepage of the Friends app. Click the Social tile on Home, or say "Xbox, go to Friends" to see who's online and what they're up to. From there you can quickly send messages and get into a party.

- Party chat will be turned on by default. When you party up, chat audio will be turned on by default.

- Chat with friends playing different games. Party chat will be separated from people playing your game, so you can chat with your friends who are online or you can chat with everyone playing the game.

- We're adding an "Invite friends to game" option to your multiplayer titles moving forward. Similar to Xbox 360 titles, this will appear inside a games' menu and offer a simple and quicker way to set up your multiplayer battles. Selecting "Invite friends" will let you invite friends to your game and party.

- We're adding "Recent Players." This is a simple list that shows you Xbox Live members you've recently played with, making it easier to stay in touch with people, or add new friends after your multiplayer battles.

Multiplayer clearly the focus of the update . I hope the new systems don't interfere with the snap system. I've gone to really enjoy it

Batman Arkham Origins : Black Gate Deluxe Edition Leaked

Former Portable Title Heads To XBLA

A leaked listing for a deluxe edition of Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate has been spotted on the XBLA marketplace, along with a handful of new screenshots.

"Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition amplifies the 2.5-D game with new maps, enemy encounters, difficulty levels, batsuits, and enhanced visuals," says the game description on the XBLA marketplace listing. It's due for release on March 25, and will have support for online features such as leaderboards."

I didn't get much time with the 3DS version but i enjoyed the Metorid-vania style of exploration and the team did an good job of transfering the Arkham gameplay to the second dimension. I wonder how the touch screen enabled detective vision will be applied to the console version

TitanFall Beta Nears

Apparently we are mere days away from learning the Titanfall Beta details all though it was confirmed their will be no NDA so look forward to our coverage of the game including impressions and Videos

Xbox One Patches 

Patch incoming!!! Tomorrow Xbox One users will be greeted with a patch. What game changing features will be in the patch?  

Controller battery levels, the ability to manage the Hard Drive, A sub folder for separating the Games and Apps... and that's it

However a second patch will land March 4th and this one is slightly more TITANFALL-y. This one will apparently make it easier to handle friends, achievements, Party and generally prep for Titanfall

Batman to Stay Glitchey

Seems like the Arkham Origins team are to busy with story DLC to fix the various bugs for the game. 

This is double slap for Wii U fans who was recently told that they didn't buy enough DLC costumes to get the incoming story DLC (that was me paraphrasing there)

Lego: The Movie: The Game (3DS/Wii U £34.99) - Despite the name this should be good because A) lego games are always good. B)The movies is pretty great. Odd Fact this is the first Lego game where the levels are made entirely out of Lego bricks

Spin the Bottle (Wii U £8.00) - The price is increased due to the free DLC  being added to the game, how ever as part of their current indie off you could grab it for £2.39 if  you have one of the other Indie titles. 

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you Steal Our Garbage?!! (3DS £34.99) - Give me a moment that was a hell of a title to type. An Adventure Time game Inspired by Legend of Zelda 2. If you know any combination of those words you'll want this game

Dr Mario (Wii U Virtual Console £3.49) - NES version of the classic puzzler. If you bought Dr Luigi you may be asking why you should bother buying this... It's free 

The Division gets help 

The Team behind Ubisofts Driver series and the Coming-Soon open world racer The Crew is helping out Ubisoft Massive (team working on) The Division an MMO-esc Shooter. What are they helping with? Alot apparently  "Main characters, enemies, RPG pillars, building Manhattan, our Core technology, online components, and so on. It gives us a very broad and wide input on the game"- Pauline Jacquey

Watch_Dogs gets dated and delayed 

Ubisoft's new IP has had a weird few weeks, Rumours of canceled platforms and someone attempting to 'abandon' the trademark for Ubisoft but now it seems to of passed. The title has had its release date narrowed down to April - June 2014, however the Wii U version has be delayed  - “We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft,” CEO Yves Guillemo
The reason given doesn't quite match up as the title was delayed last year weeks before release. Some believe they had in fact canceled the Wii U version which caused the issue with the trademark and since receiving a tone of Tweets and Facebook messages from concerned Wii U fans decided to bring it back - RUMOUR

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros length concerns hit the net

MGS: Prologue reported to be short

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is approaching its march 31st release date and its PR machine is building up and GameInformer has been spending a lot of time with the Prologue chapter for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (which is expected to land in end of 2014)  and recently some concerns arose when it was discovered they complete the main story missions in under 2 hours.

Hideo Kojima himself has come forward on his twitter account and had this to say

It should also be noted that Ground Zeros and Phantom Pain are open world games and faffing (messing) about will take up time.

SIDE NOTE amazon currently have MGSV: Ground Zeroes for Xbox One for £28 which is pretty cheap for a big name title on next gen
