Minecraft The Movie?

Seems dominating the PC, Mobile and Console markets. It looks like Minecraft now has it sights set on Hollywood

Notch took to twitter to pre leak the project's existence "Someone is trying leak the fact that we're working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft Movie. I wanted to be the leak!" Obviously the 'Potential' part of the tweet means it may not happen. 

I know some people are thinking "how could you do a move about blocks and building?" but i'd like to point you to the Lego movie; a movie about 'blocks and building'. Entertainment News Website deadline is claiming the Lego Movie team are being ear marked for the project, which would make a lot of sense.

Minecraft recently hit 1 million sales on PS3, 10 Million on 360 and 100 Million on PC. Minecraft was recently referenced as the reason PC gaming has come back to the lime light and certainly is the reason for the recent spotlight on indie games. 

Minecraft is set to hit Xbox One, PS4 and Vita later this year.
